Welcome to The Re.Store, yoga wear made in the UK using recycled fabrications. Inspired by vintage clothing, we wanted to create yoga wear you would cherish just as you would that one of a kind vintage find.
Founded by fashion designer and yoga teacher, Mische after 14 years designing for lifestyle brands worldwide (Jack Wills, Herschel Supply Co. and Truly). The more she taught yoga, the less connected she felt to some areas of the fashion industry, not only because of the mass production and the impact this has on the environment, but also in relation to mental health within an industry that prides itself on being busy. Struggling to connect the two paths, Mische left her 9-5 design role to teach yoga, but she longed for yoga wear that spoke to her vintage loving aesthetic, and she found others that longed for it too.
“I love shopping for vintage pieces, the bold prints, the unique silhouettes. But most of all I love that each piece has a story, and a very special place in our hearts. I want you to have this same relationship with your yoga wear. So, I designed our very own capsule collection of super flattering, yoga friendly activewear, that is available in our core solid colours and in our hand drawn prints that are steeped in history. I knew that if Re. was going to happen it had to be done differently. I didn’t want to make volumes of product that would end up as waste, I wanted to create small collections, that are bespoke, made locally and ethically and I wanted to be able to grow the product with the customers ideas and values steering the ship.”
We are proud to make our technical yoga wear consciously in the UK, considering the entire ethical process of making our vintage inspired products.
